After about a thirty minute flight out of Tarangire we we're greeted by our second Lemala guide Steven.
We immediately headed out for Ngorongoro, stopping in Karatu the last large bustling city before entering the outskirts of the National Park lands.
​​You could immediately tell that we were in a completely different climate than that of Tarangire. It felt like highland farmlands and that's exactly what Steven explained to us. We passed several coffee plantations and various expanses of agriculture.
Jan needed some antibiotics for a burn she sustained from her fitness tracker watch our last day on the beach in Conakry. She was successful.
Then it was on to the visitor center at the gates of the park. 😊
